When paralysis sets in, there isn’t much anyone can do. The quality of life goes down and depression can easily set in. The same can be said for pets, especially those breeds that suffer from hip dysplasia. But with the advancement of technology in medicine, there are new and better ways to help keep these animals happy and healthy.
Spencer is a bulldog who was paralyzed in his hind legs. It didn’t affect his mood at all, as he continued to drag them behind him wherever he went. But after deciding that this wasn’t really a way for him to live, the lovely staff at a brace and limb clinic gave him a little help with some new legs. It wasn’t that difficult to get him fitted, given that the technician had never fitted a dog before.
